Durbar Bagerhat

মহান একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারী বাংলাদেশ সহ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ তথা বাংলা ভাষা ব্যবহারকারী জনগণের গৌরবোজ্জ্বল একটি দিন। এটি শহীদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসাবেও সুপরিচিত। বাঙালি জাতির ভাষা আন্দোলনের মর্মন্তুদ ও গৌরবোজ্জ্বল স্মৃতি বিজড়িত একটি দিন হিসেবে চিহ্নিত হয়ে আছে। ১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে (৮ ফাল্গুন ১৩৫৮), বৃহস্পতিবার বাংলাকে পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের অন্যতম রাষ্ট্রভাষা করার দাবিতে আন্দোলনরত ছাত্রদের ওপর পুলিশের গুলিবর্ষণে অনেক তরুণ শহীদ হন। তাদের মধ্যে অন্যতম হলো রফিক, জব্বার, শফিউল, সালাম, বরকত সহ অনেকেই। তাই এ দিনটি শহীদ দিবস হিসেবে চিহ্নিত হয়ে আছে। ৫ই আগষ্ট ২০১০ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে জাতিসংঘ কর্তৃক গৃহীত সিদ্ধান্ত মোতাবেক প্রতিবছর - একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারী বিশ্বব্যাপী আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস পালন করা হয়। © 2022 All Rights Reserved By- Durbar Bagerhat

বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা বাড়াতে নারীদের নিয়ে মহাসড়কে এক ব্যতিক্রমী পদযাত্রা প্রকাশ :  ০৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২০ বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের জন্মশতবার্ষিকী উদযাপন উপলক্ষে স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা বাড়াতে নারীদের নিয়ে মহাসড়কে এক ব্যতিক্রমী পদযাত্রা করেছে বাগেরহাটের ‘নারী উন্নয়ন ফোরাম’ নামে একটি সংগঠন। বৃহস্পতিবার বিকালে এই পদযাত্রার অংশ নেয়া নারীদের মিষ্টিমুখ করিয়ে উদ্বোধন করেন বাগেরহাটের অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক ও স্থানীয় সরকার বিভাগের উপপরিচালক দেবপ্রসাদ পাল। পদযাত্রায় সহযোগিতা করেছে বাগেরহাট সদর উপজেলা পরিষদ। পদযাত্রায় অংশ নেয়া হাঁটায় সেরা ১০ জন নারীকে পুরস্কৃত করা হয়। বাগেরহাট-খুলনা মহাসড়কের বাগেরহাট সদর উপজেলার সিএন্ডবি বাজার বাসস্ট্যান্ড থেকে শুরু হয়ে মাজার মোড়ে গিয়ে পদযাত্রা শেষ হয়। অর্ধশতাধিক নারী এতে অংশ নেন। উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে আরো বক্তব্য দেন- বাগেরহাট সদর উপজেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান সরদার নাসির উদ্দীন, মহিলা ভাইস-চেয়ারম্যান রিজিয়া পারভীন, সিভিল সার্জন কার্যালয়ের মেডিকেল অফিসার ডা. প্রদীপ কুমার বকসী। সঞ্চালক ছিলেন রাখালগাছি ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান কাজী...
