তারিখ: মঙ্গলবার, ৫ অক্টোবর, ২০২১ আজ বিশ্ব শিক্ষক দিবস (World Teachers' Day) ১৯৯৫ সাল থেকে প্রতি বছর ৫ অক্টোবর তারিখ বিশ্ব ব্যাপী পালিত হয়ে থাকে বিশ্ব শিক্ষক দিবস। এই দিবসটি শিক্ষকদের অবদানকে স্মরণ করার জন্য পালন করা হয়। ইউনেস্কোর মতে, বিশ্ব শিক্ষক দিবস শিক্ষা ও উন্নয়নের ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষকদের অসামান্য অবদানের স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ পালন করা হয়। বিশ্বের ১০০টি দেশে এই দিবসটি পালিত হয়ে থাকে। উইকিপিডিয়া শিক্ষাদানের মহান ব্রত যার কাজ তাকেই '''শিক্ষক''' বলা হয়। স্কুল, কলেজ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়সহ সব ধরনের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষাদানের কাজে নিয়োজিতদেরই শিক্ষক বলা হয়। তবে প্রাথমিক ও মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়গুলোতে শিক্ষকতার কাজে যারা আছেন তাদেরকে শিক্ষক বলা হয় আর কলেজ ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষকদের অধ্যাপক বলা হয়ে থাকে। শিক্ষকদের জাতি গঠনের কারিগর বলা হয়। কেননা একজন আদর্শ শিক্ষকই পারেন তার অনুসারী দের জ্ঞান ও ন্যায় দীক্ষা দিতে। শিক্ষার্থীর মানবতাবোধ কে জাগ্রত করে একজন শিক্ষক কেবল পাঠদান কে সার্থকই করে তোলেন না, পাশাপাশি দেশের উন্নয়নকে ত্বরাণ্বিত করেন। স্বীয় জ্ঞান ও অভিজ্ঞতা শ...

বুথে ঢুকার পর জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র চাইলেন পোলিং অফিসার। পরিচয়পত্র দেওয়ার পর তিনি একটি মেশিনে বাম হাতের বুড়ো আঙ্গুল চেপে ধরতে বলেন। প্রথমবারেই আঙুলের ছাপ মিলে গেল। এরপর এক পোলিং অফিসার ভোটার তালিকায় নামের পাশে টিপ দিতে বলেন। টিপ দেওয়ার পর আরেক পোলিং অফিসার আঙুলে অমোচনীয় কালি লাগিয়ে দেন। এরপর গোপনকক্ষে ঢুকে ভোট দিতে বলা হয়। গোপনকক্ষে ঢুকে দেখলাম, ইলেকট্রনিক ব্যালট ইউনিটে মেয়র, সাধারণ কাউন্সিলর ও সংরক্ষিত কাউন্সিলর পদের জন্য তিনটি ব্যালট ইস্যু করা রয়েছে। প্রতিটি ব্যালট ইউনিটের স্ক্রিনে প্রার্থীদের নাম ও প্রতীক রয়েছে। প্রত্যেক প্রতীকের পাশে একটি করে সাদা বোতাম। প্রথমে আমি মেয়রের ব্যালট প্যাডে পছন্দের প্রার্থীর প্রতীকের ডান পাশে সাদা বোতামে চাপ দেওয়ার পর স্ক্রিনে প্রার্থীর ছবি ভে সে উঠে। এরপর ব্যালট ইউনিটের নিচে ‘কনফার্ম’ লেখা সবুজ বোতামে চাপ দিতে বলা হয়। সেখানে চাপ দিলে ভোট দেওয়া সম্পন্ন হয়েছে বলে বলা হয়। ঠিক একইভাবে সাধারণ কাউন্সিলর ও ৷  সংরক্ষিত কাউন্সিলর পদের ভোটও দিয়েছি।    https://bit.ly/2RNCTLc #DhakaCityPolls #DNCC #DSCC
